Botulinum Toxin is a neurotoxin that when injected into muscles causes them to relax and temporarily freezes the muscle.
This non invasive wrinkle treatment smoothes out lines and wrinkles in the skin caused by facial expressions and muscle movement.
Botulinum Toxin begins to work 5 - 7 days after administration.

Botulinum Toxin is a prescription-only medication.
Your medical info will need to be discussed with a medical prescriber prior to your treatment to ensure your suitability for anti wrinkle treatment.
Following your appointment you will automatically be sent Aftercare Details.
* Some people experience a headache for the first 24 hours. You can take paracetamol for this if needed,
* Bruising, swelling and redness where the needles went in the skin.
*A frozen look – you might not be able to move the muscles in your face if too much botulinum toxin is injected.
* Temporary weakness and droopiness - for example, your eyelids or eyebrows if the botulinum toxin moves into these areas.
* Very rarely, serious problems such as blurred or double vision can happen if the area around the eyes is treated, or breathing difficulties if the neck area is injected.
Before Your Treatment.
Do Not...
* Drink alcohol - for at least 24 hours before. This thins the blood increasing bruising.
* Avoid non-essential medications like blood thinners, allergy medications, muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories (aspirin/ibuprofen). Stay off them at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
* Attend your appointment make up free on the areas you wish to be injected.
* Avoid shaving / hair removal in the area receiving toxin for at least 48 hours before you appointment.
* Sunburnt skin is difficult to treat avoid sun exposure
* You ARE NOT a candidate in you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
