Dermal Filler is a clear gel-like substance which is injected into the face. They fill lines, smooth out wrinkles and add volume. Dermal Filler contains 'hyaluronic acid'. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring molecule which lives in our bodies.
You must be aged 18 or over to have treatment.
Hyaluronic acid attracts water. Which when injected promotes hydration giving the appearance of plump, fuller, rejuvenated skin.
Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) is a type of temporary dermal filler. Which is minimally invasive, with little or no downtime. No recovery time is needed and results are immediate.
Full results are seen 2 weeks following treatment.
Add Volume: Fillers can add volume to areas of the face such as cheeks, lips, eyes and mouth giving a more full appearance.
Smooth out wrinkle: Fillers also smooth and soften facial wrinkles and fine lines, particularly around the mouth and nose.
Enhance and contour: As well as adding volume and smoothing out wrinles. Injectable fillers also sculpt and enhance to give more defined features.
There are many types of dermal filler. Here at 'Aesthetically Yours' I always use CE-approved products.
Regulated for UK use.
Fillers come in different thicknesses depending on the area in which they are being used.

Before treatment, the area will be numbed with topical anaesthetic cream.
Dermal fillers are also infused with lidocaine for additional comfort when injecting.
There is minimal discomfort throughout the treatment.
Most side effects of dermal fillers are mild and include mild pain or tenderness at the injection site, redness, swelling, bruising, skin discolouration, or uneven results. Ice packs and arnica gel relieve and sooth the area.
Severe effects are vascular occlusion (filler getting into a blood vessel).
And in extreme cases filler blindness.
I am trained on all adverse reactions and Emergencies.
